This building is very unique because of its design. It was designed in 1912 and completed in 1996. The architects behind this stunning building are Vlado Miluníc and Frank Gehry. The design was very controversial at that time as it stands out among the Art Nouveau and Baroque Gothic buildings for which Prague is known for. Gehry firstly named the house Fred and Ginger (after famous dancers Fred Astaire and Ginger Logus), because it resembles a pair of dancers. This extraordinary building lies on the Rašínovo Nábřeží on a vacant river front plot. The shape of this building is featured on a gold 2,000 Czech koruna coins issued by the Czech National Bank. Inside the building there are art exhibitions, which are opened from 10 am to 8 pm and a glass bar, which is opened from 10 am to 12 pm.
